It's been almost 2 months since I've made a post..........

I'm a grown ass woman now.

With a grown ass woman job.

That I need to get up at 6 am for (grown ass woman time).

I drive an hour an day to get to work and back (grown ass woman driving).

But now I am tired/exhausted and it's only 8:10 (grown ass woman bedtime.)

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

p.s. It sucks to be sick during your entire first week of your new job. :(

How is everybody?

Things are going okay over here.  The interview went all right.  Then I was called in for pre-employment testing, a.k.a. the SATs.  It was timed, too.  I am not too bad at writing and reading, but math? YIKES.  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.  I waited a couple weeks and finally came to the conclusion that they hadn't chosen me and never got around to writing a letter/email.   There were a lot of people applying for my position; as I was testing I could hear the human resources rep calling person after person for an interview for the same position.

However, I ended up getting a call on Friday to come in for a panel interview.  Yay! And Yikes...I've never had a panel interview before.  There will be 5+ people darting questions at me.  So, we'll see how that goes.

Anyone have to pee a lot at interviews? I usually go right before, then get urgency during the interview, and then have to run to the bathroom right after.  Nerves, I tell ya!

My new car is sweeeeet.  I've never owned something so nice before....I usually own crapmobiles.  I've never had much money and my family never had a lot either, so it feels so good to finally own something so......nice.  (Awesome vocabulary, Jen.)

My Beretta is finally at the junk yard.  It was kind of bittersweet to see it get towed away.  She was a good car.

I am realizing that this post is pretty boring so I'm going to stop. : )

Peace.

This past week has been refreshing after the past 15ish weeks:

     - New car
     - Job interview on Fri (Aegon)
     - Found out I have a huge inheritance
(from my great aunt, rest in peace)
     - Checked my loan balances...I'm close to finally paying off college
     - I went to another doctor and finally found out I have two urinary medical conditions; One involves nerve oversensitivity, and the other I won't be certain of until tests are run, but it explains why my bladder always hurts and I have to drink water like it's nobody's business.  (Interstitial Cystitis...It's where the lining of the bladder deteriorates.)  <-- yikes

Why is the last part good news? Because I have been in pain for almost 3 years and doctors had no idea what was up with me.  It's relieving to finally get answers from someone. Yanno? Word.

Other cool things:

     - Liz is coming back!
     - Watch the Lunar Eclipse tonight at 9pm (Central)
Hopefully it won't be cloudy. The next eclipse won't be until 2010.

I was sitting around, listening to them share crazy stories of recent drunken nights, when I discovered my stories are pretty tame compared to theirs.  Then I realized, hey, this is weird.  These people who are beating me at recent drunk stories are my parents.

I doubt they can beat John at stories though.

Anyway, I saw a bald eagle just up the street a few weeks ago.

hellz yeah.

So this past weekend was awesome.  We had a girls night on Friday and started with a super tasty dinner, (thanks Jen & Cody!). After a few drinks, we called for taxis to pick the 6 of us up (Jen, Cody, Tara, Amanda, Anna, and I), and amazingly we all fit in one car.  I had to practically spoon with the taxi driver though....we hadn't even had our first date yet-- it was a little uncomfortable! But his sweet cd player with rad visualizations made me realize, hey, this guy could be my future husband.  (He was probably in his 60s though, maybe I should shoot for guys a little younger........like 52.)

The Fieldhouse was already hoppin', and we started off with a shot that actually wasn't too bad. (Thanks, Cody!) Then we started taking lots of pictures. My favorite one was definitely the one of Anna's butt and all of us surrounding it, making seductive/funny/creepy faces.  (Okay....so I don't remember what kind of faces we made, I most likely made a creepy one, but the picture is a keeper.)  Then we noticed Krishna was there and harassed him for crashing ladies night.

I had so so so much fun with you guys, but I gotta tell you something: Continuously refilling my cup with beer was awesome because you were trying to keep me happy, but when I say "No more", I should probably really slow down/stop.  I was completely trashed and I lost judgment and kept drinking, and I kept blacking out.  One or two more drinks and I could have possibly ended my life.  I don't want to die, I still want to hang out with you guys...so I need to be more careful! (Hey, me...drink more water!)

I didn't recover from that night until late the next night.  Ouchie mama.  Sitting around in my pajamas, watching movies, and eating massive amounts of junk food just might be my favorite pastime.

The past few days I have been looking for cars like crazy.  I am really interested in this car in Davenport, so I am planning a trip there tomorrow.  We'll see......

Have a good week, everybody.

Peace.
